The birthplace of Dimitrije Tucović (1881-1914), the leader of the socialist labor movement in Serbia, is located in the village of Gostilje, about 30 kilometers from the center of Zlatibor.
The building was built in accordance with the traditional construction method characteristic of the Zlatibor region. The house has a simple structure, adapted to the conditions of life in the countryside, with an emphasis on functionality and the use of natural materials. This type of construction reflects the daily life of families of that period, as well as their connection with nature and the environment.
In addition to its architectural value, the house also has great symbolic significance. It represents the place where Dimitrije Tucović's first life impressions were formed, which later influenced his thinking and actions. Precisely because of this, this house is seen today not only as a building, but also as an important witness of a time.

The house is of the Zlatibor log cabin type and is under state protection.
It has been completely renovated together with the auxiliary facility and is expected to be open for tourist visits in the near future.
