Mileševa Monastery - Sopotnica waterfalls
Mileševaiz Monastery of the 13th century, an endowment of King Vladislav Nemanjić. The monastery houses one of the most beautiful works of Serbian and European art of the Middle Ages - the "White Angel" fresco. The medieval town of Mileševac, which is located at the very beginning of the canyon of the Mileševka river, represents an exceptionally well-preserved and important natural area, a refuge for many rare and old species.
The natural monument of the Sopotnica Waterfalls is a protected natural asset that includes the source of the surface flow of the Sopotnica River with several permanent and occasional karst springs and springs. These springs and springs form streams that first merge and then form a series of waterfalls. Next to the waterfall there are old and renovated mills.
